Officials with the Verify the Recall effort inform me that the total signatures delivered to the Government Accountability Board last month was somewhere between 850 and 860k, nowhere near the 1 million milestone proclaimed by organizers and repeated by the media. This 860 thousand figure is for submitted signatures, before any validation/verification process took place.
